More glyphicons to choose from

I just updated the main message. Custom icon font support is released as part of the 9.24 release.

Any updates on this feature?

Svg is only importable in it’s own color right? Not like an font formattable?

Pieter, I just updated the main message. Support for custom icon fonts is planned for end of this year.

@Danny is there an update regarding the inclusion of custom icon fonts in the modeller? Would be great if we could upload our own icon collection into the modeller and then being able to select the icon in e.g. buttons. Additionally it would be nice to have an icon as a type of custom design property. Making you able to specify icons as a design property for example on containers.

Hello there, 

I am building a native mobile app and I want to add another icon at the bottom bar items of native mobile app(phone). In this case the new icon should be able to change its color when clicked similar to existing glyphicons. Yes I can add a svc image but may question is: it possible to change its color when its clicked. In other words could I add styling to the image at navigation bottom bar or make it act like a glyphicon which changes its color?

Or can I add dynamic classes into it and how?

currently we are using www.css.gg icons these are pure css icons, and are easy to change color with the dynamic classes that are now available.
It isnt perfect and some icons are missing, but I'm really happy with this for now untill we get proper icon support from MX.

Adding custom icon fonts is on the roadmap, but will probably be not this year, because of other priorities.

Is there a new implementation of this feature?

Such as extending the set of Glyphicons , not adding as Image.

Extension of  Glyphicons is needed as it behaves differently compare to the one from Image collection.

@lucus, I agree, and that is we are already something we are working on. ETA is 8.12/813.

Would love to see SVG images inlined, rather than added as <img> tags.

The current glyphicon set is pretty bulky and limited.

I’d like to see either more freedom in the Dom, or this to be integrated internally

I think this was already suggested somewhere, but I'll vote for it again :D 

Also just having to support multiple font-icons/glyphicons out of the box would be nice.
