Use DataGrid2 instead of DataGrid when generating overview pages

Hello everyone, so far we have been using DataGrid, which was automatically added into a view when using the “Generate overview pages...”-Functionality from the DomainModel. Since we need to switch to DataGrid2 and we also want to use it in future: is there any chance to use DataGrid2 instead of DataGrid for generating overiew pages? Unfortunately DataGrid2 requires to add all the columns manually, which takes much more time and effort… Any ideas? Is there any other way to get an entities attributes added automatically to DataGrid2?

I don’t think you can choose to automatically use DataGrid 2 on such auto generated pages. But this sounds like a perfect example for the Idea Forum.
