Is it possible to read file from user directory and upload it into remote server in mendix

I am working on a offline desktop application where all the form data including files will be saved in user local file system on offline mode. when user finds a network, he can sync all the data saved in local file system to remote server. all the data except row files can be synced . how we can we upload all saved files one by one in mx with a user interaction. is it possible to solve this use-case in mx?
