Mendix supports 1*1, 1*M and M*M but what’s the reason it doesn’t supports M*1 relation?

It’s the same as 1*M. You can just start dragging the entity from the other entity.
Yellow: Entity A <---- (1) ----- (*) --- Entity B (Multiple B to one A)
Pink: Entity A ---- (*) ----- (1) -→ Entity B (Multiple A to one B)
