I am having trouble trying to connect the Registration and Training Event into a list view for the 6.8.2 module. The directions are to drag and drop the entity into a list view. Although I am having trouble doing this and having the two connected in a list view.

Right now, your data view (page parameter) and list view are both showing TrainingEvent. Since you want the list view to show registrations, you'll have to drag the Registrations entity onto the list view instead of the TrainingEvent one.
Be sure to drag the Registration that's under TrainingEvent in your connector:
