Archive apps

On May 1, 2024, we will archive Free Apps that haven't been active for more than 3 months as mentioned in our documentation.   If a Free App has been in sleep mode for 3 months or longer, it may be archived. For Free Apps that are going to be archived, the Technical Contact is informed two weeks beforehand. Upon archiving, the project and model are retained, but the running app, database, and files for the Free App are deleted.   For technical reasons, it is currently not sufficient to simply start the app to prevent archival. To prevent your Free App from being archived you must deploy a new version of your app to your Free App environment before May 1. More information on this can be found in our documentation 2.2 Deploying a Free App     In My scenario using a free cloud for publishing the app some apps have been under development all the application needs to be  deployed   in Mendix service console  in order to avoid the archive state of the apps. If the application went to archive how to restore the application.   Suggest some ideas regarding this issue

Clear explanation about what's going to happen, right?

You can check all your apps via https://sprintr.home.mendix.com/index.html and see for each 'Mendix - Free' whether you have deployed it to a sandbox. In that case, you should create a new version of your app (for example upgrade to the latest Mendix version and click Publish).

If you missed to redeploy an application, it will be archived on May 1st and you won't be able to restore any data.

As I read this, a new version of an app is just another deployment. Not necessary an upgrade to a higher version of Studio pro. Unless you are running on mendix 7 or earlier. Though in that case you should consider upgrading for that reason alone.
