Mendix Academy - Multiple Studio Pro Versions

0
Hi Everyone,   I'm trying to learn how to use Mendix, but am working my way through the various courses iin Mendix Academy. I'm finding that unless you have *exactly* the right Studio Pro version installed to go along with the course / module you are working with you will invariably run into issues. I'm already up to 6 versions of Studio Pro 10.x installed - not to mention many of the dependancies of older version fall foul of application vulnerabiliy control when it insists on installing older versions of GIT etc.    Is there a way I can learn Mendix without having to continually install another version and another....?

Hi David,

No need to install all versions. Choose one version from 10, install it, and check the courses created with that version. Continue with the courses using that application, and don't install all versions from the learning path.

Mendix officials should update the corresponding version of the course to the latest studip pro version in time, such as generating all 10 versions of MTS/LTS

In this scenario, just try to use the most recent version and as a best practice - you can start with any MTS or LTS versions which are stable versions and that way you can stick to only one stuio pro as mentioned above by @pragadeeswaran. And, if those get outdate and you need new ones then upgrading your projects to a new version is pretty quick.

Cheers !
