Currently, when using the import mapping option to find existing objects by key(s), the new attribute values are not written as updates to the existing object.
This means that currently the new values are just ignored.
The only way to get them into the system is to create new objects and then merge them with the old ones, which pretty much defeats the purpose of finding existing objects.
I would suggest to either make updating the default behavior or at least give an option to update the values.
