When configuring a microflow behind a button, you got plenty of options to configure the microflow settings:
When you add a datasource microflow to your pages (whether it’s a dataview, a datagrid, a listview, a datagrid2 … doens’t matter), I would suggest to allow the developer to make the same configurations. When you have a tabcontainer for example with three tabs and both hold datagrid2’s in them with data that needs to be refreshed everytime, it’s not user friendly to keep waiting, see nothing, not being able to set a “please wait”-message on the specific datagrid2, etc.
The workaround – implementing buttons and styling them – shows that it’s possible, but you lose quite some time in development.
