From a developer point of view, it would be very useful to be able to drag an existing column from a data grid to the search bar area, in order to add a search field. The search field caption (and its translatable texts) could be copied from the column caption (and its translatable texts) in order to save additional development time. Type of search field could be based upon type of attribute, eg: enum and boolean types to drop-down, others to comparision.
