Addition of timeouts to all ./xas calls

For Mendix App :
The Mendix Client and Mendix Runtime are synchronized via the ./xas calls.
For a better error handling in the Mendix Client , it would be welcomed to have timeouts implemented for the ./xas calls.
Can this improvement , be planned in a future Mendix version release?

I've submitted a ticket to Mendix support for this missing feature. As Slavko pointed out, there might be a way to have a timeout for web-based apps. However, for native apps communicating to the runtime for a retrieve, microflow calls or any other runtime operation apart from the initial startup operations, there is no such timeout available.
As of now, Mendix support has also noted that this is not a feature R&D is currently working on or on their backlog in any way. Their advise was to create an Idea on the forum, so please back this Idea up if we want to have this in Mendix native any time in the future.
There is already timeout on /xas and you can adjust it in configuration (on-premises by adjust yaml file).
any idea if this idea will be planned.tackled in the next releases/versions ?
