Add search fields to list view/template grid with data source

Hello, I need to add filters/search fields to a list view/template grid. The problem is that the entity is persistent but not commited and I am useing a data source as the base of the list. I try to use drop-down-static, comparison to my list view but it doesn't work. any suggestion?
