Studio Pro user access rights in Windows. Local administrator level access required?

Two questions: For installing Studio Pro is it required that the install user has local administration level access on the windows machine? After Studio Pro is installed, can a non-admin user effectively use the Studio Pro environment without some sort of access issue Background: our company may need to adjust some current user access policy restrictions based on above answers.
