Convert an object to its specification or generalization without losing the id

Hi. In Documentum you can change the object type: CHANGE current_type [(ALL)] OBJECT[S] TO new_type[update_list] [IN ASSEMBLY document_id [VERSION version_label] [DESCEND]] [SEARCH fulltext search condition] [WHERE qualification] Is there something like that in Mendix? Creating a new object and copying its properties and re-associating the new object is too much work. When we’re a data hub provider and somebody associated with our object then it’s just impossible.

Idea https://forum.mendix.com/link/space/microflows/ideas/2167 was raised in November 2020.
If the idea is implemented, it would solve the issue raised by Ilya.
