How to restrict Object creation in File Dropper widget

Hello Experts, I am using file dropper widget, here I am facing an issue. Consider a scenario where I am using wizard pages and I placed file dropper widget in a second page and uploading the files when I move to third wizard page, again come back to second wizard page at that time the uploaded file seems to be unavailable(committed to the DB) and the widget is creating new object to upload a new file. Basically It creating new objects when user lands on that page. Kindly let me know how restrict the object creation if already the document is uploaded. Answers are really much appreciated!
