I’m taking the course to build an app from an excel Spreadsheet. When I click to download the spreadsheet nothing happens,

File wont get downloaded if File object is null or doesnt contain the data.

You can put a debugger on the microflow which downloads it and check the properties in variable window.If everything ok try once again in a different browser or incognito mode.

Refresh the page, check browser settings if pop-ups are allowed and also check download settings to allow download from Mendix website. If all this doesn't work change your browser and try again.
