Filter/Search Button Changes Data Instead of Searching

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well. We’re developing an app that manages projects, however we came accross an issue with our search button. It is when you type something on the search bar/text box, it overwrites the existing data and changes into what you’ll type in the search bar, it commits the change when you click the “Search” button.
