Blocking the opening of subitem of navigation bar on Hover

I dont want to open the navigation bar on hover. Currently, i have subitems in the navigation bar i.e ABC as shown in 1st pic. I want to block it when the user hover over the icon. It should open on clicking only The user shouldnt be able to open the navbar on hovering the above icon.
