Authentication by OIDC using Azure AD vs Ping Identity

Hi Experts, I have a requirement where one application1(React based app) will call Rest api published by application 2 which is Mendix . We have to authenticate this api request in the mendix app and provide response back to application1. The application1 is using Ping Identity and application2 Mendix is using Azure AD. Both the applications will be on same network. My concern is it is possible for Mendix application2(Azure AD) to authenticate the JWT token provided my application1 (Ping Identity). If possible can tell me how to do that. Thanks in advance.
