Hello I just started with self paced trainings. And got stuck because after "running the app", i cannot see You will see "app with various tasks, under the To Do, In Progress, To Review, and Done status." Please, anyone knows where is the issue?

I think I have found your root cause already. From your screenshot shown you didn't create the app with Template. 

You refer to this link https://academy.mendix.com/link/modules/564/lectures/4442/2.1.1-Create-the-App

Follow the instructions and make sure you pay attention on the bolded font. see image below
