Chunk size on new Datagrid 2 Excel export not working

We're using the Excel Export javascript action of the new Datagrid 2 (Data Widgets). However I need to limit the amount of data that is exported, this should be possible with the ChunkSize limit. But this does not seem to be doing anything. Anyone know how to fix this?
