Consumed web service URL change. Avoid redoing mapping

Hi, We have a very very large webservice that we consume and call. The company we call has changed the URL (endpoint we call) but it's the same service just we have been pointing to the new URL now for a few months. I have to make some minor changes where they will add new returning fields for us. But when I change the WSDL source to the new URL and hit import all my mappings selection is lost. I will have to go through each field and map to the fields we are using. There are hundreds of fields being returned. Is their away to change the URL and reimport without losing the mappings selection?
