Advice if thinking of moving from OutSystems to Mendix

0
Anyone have any suggestions/tips for someone looking at moving from OutSystems to Mendix?   To answer Ivo's questions: Do they want to move because of the new OutSystems pricing strategy only or is there an intrinsic/technical good reason? Pretty much the pricing "strategy" of OutSystems, also being moved to a limited application object license - for a higher price than unlimited. How many apps do they have? What type of apps? One big webpage with alot of different sections which it might or might not be best practice to break apart - that is still in discussion. Do they have internal Mendix / OS developers or they want it to be outsourced? Internal team of OS devs with about 8-9 years experience.

Hi Jason,

I think people will want to help you, but your question is somewhat too generic.

  • Do they want to move because of the new OutSystems pricing strategy only or is there an intrinsic/technical good reason?
  • How many apps do they have? What type of apps?
  • Do they have internal Mendix / OS developers or they want it to be outsourced?

You may have seen this article from Mendix. Via chat it is not that easy to go into the details, but feel free to reach out.
