Maybe you have set the option to shown only the errors for the current tab on the error panel and that's why it is showing 0 on the tab header?

Select View > Error List.

1.Go to View Tab and Select Error List. (or)

2.Go to View Tab Click Reset Layout

By doing this we can find errorList.
