Word Document formatting issues from document templates
0
We have had some formatting issues no longer working with Word Document generation. We use a 'Generate Document' microflow action into a standard document template. The before and after are attached below. Instances of these 'broken' formats seem to be occurring across multiple apps. We've tried different cell spacing/padding to individual columns, increasing weights of tables, etc. The main issue seems to be that the table weights are not being applied correctly anymore. All components of the document template seem to be set to their minimum size when downloaded to a word doc. Before After Has anyone ran into these issues or have a solution?

Hi,
I got confirmation from Mendix that the issue resides on Microsoft side (office 365). Since the upgrade of office365 version 2409 the weights given in the document template are now ignored by Word when the file is generated or during the export. They recommended us to reach out to Office 365 support direclty (so has Mendix). However, I cannot confirm if this applies to your problem as well.

Until the issue is fixed by Microsoft, we are using a work-around by exporting the document to .odt. The result can directly be copied/pasted in a Word document, if necessary.
