How can I reset the MxAdmin password?

How can I reset the MxAdmin password on a production server that runs version 2.4.5. of the platform. I now in 2.5 there is a function to do this in Putty but i am not sure how to do this in 2.4.5.

You can set it in the Mendix Service Console.

To reset the MxAdmin password, you have to start the Mendix application server manually. In the console menu, choose Advanced, and then Create/Update Administrative User Account.
