Can Mendix Handle Complex Document Management Requirements Including Oracle RAC Integration?

0
Hi Mendix Community,   We're evaluating Mendix for implementing a comprehensive Document Management System (DMS). The system requirements include both standard and advanced capabilities, and I’d like to know whether Mendix can support them natively or through extensions/custom development. Here’s a summary of the required features:   Document Version Control: As part of our DMS requirements, we need the ability to track revisions of documents and maintain a complete version history. This includes storing previous versions (including file content and metadata like author, timestamp, and change description), assigning version numbers, and allowing users to view or revert to earlier versions when necessary.Does Mendix offer built-in capabilities to support this kind of document version control, or would it require a custom implementation? Are there any existing modules, templates, or best practices within the Mendix ecosystem to help manage document versioning effectively?   Access Control: Role-based access permissions for viewing and editing documents. Search and Metadata: Metadata tagging, document search and retrieval. Full tracking of document history and changes. Integration: Integration with GIS for visualizing documents on maps. Integration with Oracle Database RAC 12c (used by other internal systems).   Can Mendix handle all of the above requirements?   Thanks in advance for your input!
