Why do I get prompted to log on to Version Control Serve i Mendix IDE?

0
I am trying to learn Mendix and have started using the free version Mendix.10.23.70273 (I chose 10.22 in the list below, since 10.23 as not an option).   I have used this version for a "long time", but yesterday I had an issue that I am not able to resolve.  Suddenly I was promted to log on to the Version Control Server.   I was already logged onto the Mendix Portal and had no problems listing my commits on the Team Server.  So why am I prompted to log on to the Version control server from Mendix IDE? And when I try to log on with the same user/password,  the sign in window re-opens with no message and I am not logged in.   This is a hopeless situation and I hope someone can help me, because I am stuck. I even tried to reinstall Mendix, but with no luck.

Hi Toril,

Please confirm that you are logged in the Mendix Studio Pro. Sometimes that happens when you are trying to open an app without being logged.

Hi, I found a solution to my problem, see below.

✅ 2. Clear Corrupted Settings

If authentication still fails, your local settings might be corrupted:

  • Navigate to:C:\Users\<your-username>\AppData\Local\Mendix\Settings.sqlite
  • Rename it to Settings.sqlite.old
  • Restart Mendix Studio Pro
