Does tab control still work in combination with conditional formatting? For example, I put tab control on all the 12 input fields of a dataview. If number 8 and 9 are not shown due to conditional formatting, is an user able to tab from 7 to 10?

Yes, using tab in the AJAX client works in combination with conditional formatting (i.e. conditionally hide or disable parts of the interface). The client will automatically skip the fields which are hide. The other way around also works: if fields are enabled or made visible they will become part of your tab order.
