Export to Excel with information other than current data view

Hi everyone, we want to add additional information to that passed by the Export to Excel button. The data view containing the export right now only contains the 'lines' we want on the Excel spreadsheet. We now want to add an header to that, so that generic information about the customer is printed at the top of the XLS and the lines from the data view beneath that. Any ideas are much appreciated! EDIT: Sorry its a grid, not a view. The grid is nested inside the view that holds the additional info we want to export

That isn't possible with the standard Export to Excel button. If you would like to create something like that, you can use the document exporter.
