Navigation tree does not show in webbrowser

When I use the standard option to generate the application via the Navigation Tree, this does not show in the webbrowser. The box 'Show Navigation tree' was ticked, so the webbrowser should show the build application.

After checking the Show Navigation tree checkbox, have you then defined the menu entries on the Navigation tree tab of Navigation?

Are you using a theme that includes the Navigator? All the default themes in 2.5.3 now do, but earlier versions didn't, and if you are using a custom theme you may not have the widget defined in the index page.
