Floats are deprecated in Mx6. In there an alternative for the floatsEqual function when using decimals?

The currenciesEqual function is a synonym for floatsEqual. However, we recommend the use of the high-precision Decimal type to represent money. Equality of Decimal numbers can be determined with the = operator.
