I have installed Mendix 2.5.4 and I'm trying to open a MultiDeveloper project created in Mendix 2.5.3. I enter my credentials for the DB and the [Test connection] button tests the connection successfully. But when I click okay, I get the following error: "The database you're trying to open does not look like a Modeler database. It lacks the essential table _MetaData or the table is of the wrong format." I've Googled to no avail. Am I approaching this correctly? Help will be appreciated thanks.

when creating a mendix project you are working with 2 different databases. One holding the data and the other the model/structure. Make sure you select the model/structure database and link it up to the data database under the project settings.
