I know I can set the number of digits after the decimal point on the form level, however, are there plans to enable this on the domain model level? (This would be ideal so as not to set the property for every form where the attribute is visible.)

As far as I know, we do not have plans to add this to the domain model at this time. I suggest filing a feature request in the Support Portal.
