I can't set the nillable thick box when I select the XSD elements. Should it be automatically set by importing the published webservice or should I file a bug report? At the side of the published webservice, most elements are optional. It relates to my previous question and thought this functionality might solve my problem.

Nillable is determined by the WSDL/XSD. It looks kinda weird, what the checkbox means is "this element is nillable", not "click here to nill this element".
In other words: it's not a control, it's feedback on the mapping :)
