Java Development Kit 1.6 was not found. Please check the JDK location in the project settings dialog. Install the JDK if necessary.

I have downloaded the programme, but it still gives this error when I click the run button. Can someone tell me what I do wrong? Thank you very much in advance

You can select the JDK directory at Project Settings > Disk locations > JDK directory in your Mendix Business Modeler after you've installed the program.

When you say "I have downloaded the programme", do you mean the mendix modeler or the java development kit (JDK)? You need both to run mendix. You can download the JDK here.
