Hi All, I got an error message: "ERROR - ConnectionBus: Opening JDBC connection failed with SQLState: 08S01 Message: The TCP/IP connection to the host <hostnam>, port 1433 has failed. Error: "Connection refused: connect. Verify the connection properties, check that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port, and that no firewall is blocking TCP connections to the port.". Retrying...(1/3)" For the host name an alias was used. When using the server name in stet of the alias, the connection succeeded Is this a know issue?

So the server where the mendix application is running cannot resolve the aliasname for the database server? This sounds like a DNS issue. Either add the aliasname mapping to the correct server IP address to your DNS server, or add it to the hosts file on your mendix application server.
