2 applications on 1 database

I have 2 applications on 1 database. The first application works well but the second one shutts down once in 2/3 weeks. It is possible to run 2 mendix applications on 1 database succesfully? How can I fix the problem?

If the applications are identical, this should work fine, but if they are different but with some overlapping entities, this could cause a lot of problems with your data integrity. If they are identitical then I don't know why your app shuts down once in a while though, but maybe you can have a look in your log files.

We had a similar problem, but with the synchronisation provided by the database replication module this can be resolved!
