Hi, I am trying to send emails using the SMTP.mendix.nl SMTP server in the mendix cloud. Do I need to request any special permissions to send emails from the mendix cloud using this server?

No special permissions. smtp.mendix.nl can be used for outgoing email relay if you got hosting in NL. port 25, no user/pass.
