The release documentation of the 3.0 rc1 talks about a new site named apidocs.mendix.com containing the API documentation. Is that available yet? Can't get there with my mxid.

We will make it available for all MxIDs along with the 3.0.0 release. We are currently documenting the last parts of the improved Client API.
