Data from Mendix to HTML and back to Mendix

Hi all Mendix GURUs. Is there some option i can put data from some Mendix entity to HTML code (for example using HTML Snippet app) to some HTML input, then change the text in input and after clicking on button trigger some Javascript function which saves the new value back to entity? The communitcy commons module contains some functions in the String folder to perform these operations. Usually I use two attributes, one plain, one HTML encoded.

You can use deep link module to get back to mendix application.
