Mendix 3 and tagging

I may have missed this, but for committing updates to the teamserver I cannot determine how to create a tag either in the mendix environment or on sprintr. If an external product is being used to manage this which one is this? Thanks for any input

If you create a Deployment Archive (MDA) it will create a tag automatically for that version. If you must create tags manually, you could use an external tool such as TortoiseSVN.
