Can a view be used with the database replication module??

I think the answer is yes. When I configure a connection to an external database, the Tables datagrid seems to list all tables and all views from the database. I have used one of the Views to import data with no issues.

This was using MS SQL2005

Yes you can. I have used many views with this module.
