Does Mendix have support for time based entities (entiteiten met tijdvakken) or valuta dependent currencies?

Working with tariffs, the demand is to have the tariffs valid for a certain time period. And, as the company is working international, all currencies have their own valuta (Dollar, Euro, Yuan). The time based entity is a common type of entity as is the valuta dependent currency a common type of attribute. Does Mendix have special support for this? Or is the only option to develop the logic for this from scratch? Does anybody have a setup for this that I could look at and use? I know this is asking a lot :-)

No this kind of business logic is not a part of the Mendix framework itself. But maybe some others have implemented this already.

Maybe the audit trail could be used to create this logic. Because then you can go back in time to retrieve a certain value (the valuta of that time).
