stumbling along the path ofconnectivity.... Has anyone tried to use the synchronization module from the appstore to " acces" a Windows server with multiple SQL server instances ?? For performance and security reasons I have several separate instances running which means that I usually identify an instance as [servername][engineidentifier] After consulting with the support team at Mendix I am told that the security setup does not cater for either / or \ in the connection-string- Any experinces shared or suggestions are appriciated. Created an Alias for the instance: Mendix Problem is not resolved...! As far as I remember you can make one instance the default instance or let other instances running on different ports.
