We need to log the client ip address, but according to this earlier post, it isn't possible to get the browser client headers. Mendix logs the client IP in the log file. How is that possible?

In the used webserver somewhere deep below the surface they have access to those details... That does not mean that you have insight in that. Technically it should be possible.
