Persistent Object type not available in Object activities in mendix4.0

i am notable to see Persistent Object type in Object activities in mendix4.0. but i have a microflow which contains Persistent Object, any one help me regarding Persistent Object. can any one explain about Persistent Object and it's use and why that is not available in 4.0 version
