Can I FTP a database dump or files to a cloud environment? I have a bunch of uploaded files that I want to transport directly to my cloud deployment location. Is that possible?

See the documentation. No, you can't FTP it (for the time being, although we might offer SFTP or some other means later) but you can upload data via the cloud portal.
