Mendix Mobile - Currenlty possible to use a Mendix app offline on a mobile platform?

Is it currently possible to use a Mendix app offline on a mobile platorm? If not, is Mendix planning to start supporting this? It would need a combination of the HTML5 support for Local Storage and a synching mechanism, right? Or is there a better / more prefered way of doing this?

It is currently not possible to use a Mendix app offline. There are no immediate plans to address this. You would indeed need to work with local storage and synchronize when you come back online. I believe it is a highly complex topic.

If you really need to have a offline app, you will have to create a native app that communicates with the Mendix application through web services.
