Phonegap / Cordova - Widgets not working properly (date time picker, mobile maps)?

Does anyone have successfully used the mobile maps widget in a Phonegap application? It does not work for me. The map is not showing, I'm not sure yet where the problem comes from. I get I already had seen problems with the date time picker widget in combination with Phonegap. If someone is successful, I at least know it is possible with the current widget, but I'm doubting that. I use Phonegap 2.1.0 (on iOS) and 2.0.0 (on Android) in combination with Mendix 4.1.1.

I've managed to get google maps running in combination with Phonegap / Cordova. Not finished yet, but it is possible.

I don't think the current App Store widget is working correctly though.
